PlaNetWAWA - local group of PlaNet has great pleasure to invite you for congress PlaNet 2007.
This year PlaNet, non-profit organisation, which has become well known in students environment for its work focused on discussing important planning, architectural and related issues and international integration of academics meets 11th time. The topic of congress and workshops is : TOP DOWN / BOTTOM UP - public participation in shaping urban surroundings
In september's congress and workshops programme we plan lectures and seminars about urban planning and architecture created together with citizens. There is also planned public presentation and disscussion about effects of the workshops.

official inauguration of the 11th PlaNet Congress
10.30 Lectures leading into the problems of social participation in spatial planning of towns

13.30 Sightseeing of Warsaw and workshop areas (Praga, Zoliborz)
18.00 Presentation of town planning terms and conditions by a district civil worker
19.00 Supper
20.00 Exchange of views, selection of workshop groups

09.00 Lecture and workshops by an individual experienced in transformation projects based on social participation
13.00 Lunch
15.00 Meeting at workshop sites (Zoliborz - Sokolnicki’s Fort; Praga - vodka factory Koneser); inhabitants of the districts, representatives of social groups and special guests will be invited to the meeting
18.00 Presentation of cultural history and social transformations by a local animator of culture and/or a local group representative
